Absolutely loved Amsterdam! For a lot of the reasons that have already been mentioned. If you’re visiting the city and want to do something original, check out the House of Bols. Rather than just an attraction it calls itself a ‘Cocktail and Genever Experience’ and I must say, I agree. Before being demonstrated how my senses affect each other and how to Flair, the tour took me through the history of Bols (Hollands Oldest brand of Genever). To top it off the staff will make you your favorite cocktail at the end of the tour. All this for 12 euro.
